- Rose Care
Now that we are experiencing abnormal weather patterns, the lawn’s reliance on nutrients is all year round. Feeding during the spring and summer gives grass the strength it needs to produce a healthy green look that we all desire and ensures the grass is capable of withstanding wear and tear, regular mowing and drought.
Feeding in the autumn and winter produces the tough healthy growth needed to withstand otherwise damaging cold weather and prolonged water logging. The lawn bounces back more quickly, looks better longer and is ready for use earlier in the spring.
All our fertilisers are able to have added sulphur; by including sulphur the pH of the soil is lowered therefore reducing worm cast activity. Sulphur will also benefit the grass by allowing the soil particles to release nutrients which may have been unavailable to the grass roots; once again improving grass growth.
