1. Terms and conditions
These are the terms and conditions which apply to all goods purchased from GREENACRES from this web site.
You can submit an order to GREENACRES by completing the details required on the payment page and clicking the Confirm button. All prices are displayed (and charged) in UK Sterling and include VAT. We are under no obligation to accept your order, but would normally do so where the product(s) are available, the order reflects current pricing and your credit card/ debit card payment is approved by your credit card/ debit card company. Your order represents an offer of contract from you only. We are entitled to withdraw from any order in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the products or the order appearing on our website.
3. Acceptance of order
When you confirm an order, it is a notification that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. In the unlikely event of a price change or a withdrawal of a product from the time in which you make an order until time of dispatch, we will contact you to advise of this change. Your card will never be charged with an amount additional to your original order without your prior consent and you will have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
We will make every effort to ensure that your products arrive on time. All orders will be dispatched within 5 working days of receipt. In the event of circumstances beyond our control (i.e. adverse weather). We will inform you of any delays as soon as possible.
By selecting the 'confirm order' button you are confirming that you are instructing us to charge your debit / credit card the total amount of the order, including any additional postage costs if applicable. You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purposes of purchasing products are correct, that the credit/debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of the products. As we are not responsible for the operation of this secure link we will not, unless we are negligent, be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any information you provide via this link. 6. Refund policy
GREENACRES makes every effort to ensure that it's expertise and customer advice, together with the supply of top quality professional products, meet our customers needs. We do not, however, accept liability for poor germination of our grass seed or failure of any product resulting from adverse weather conditions, resistance to treatment on difficult soils, pests, diseases or vegetation, and a lack of attention on the part of the user.
All communication regarding condition of materials, damages in transit and loss by carriers etc, will be immediately assessed. We will either re-issue or refund in full, any such orders within one month of the order placement date.
7. Site content
This website is for personal and non-commercial use. You may NOT modify, copy, distribute, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivate works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website. This website is protected by copyright, other intellectual property rights and analogous rights. You may only download to your personal computer for viewing purposes and print hard copies for personal use.
All emails to you will be forwarded to the address you specify to us. You must also ensure that if this address and/or delivery address changes between submitting your order and delivery of the products, especially when ordering live products that are dispatched over the course on a few weeks, you advise us of the new address. We will not be responsible for failure to perform under this agreement where such failure is attributable to a change of address.
9. Complaints procedure
All complaints are taken seriously and will be addressed by the company. We ask, that in the first instance, a telephone call be made to the company to allow us to try and rectify the situation immediately. Thereafter, the complaint (if not settled) should be made in writing within one month of the order placement date.
